About Us

EduAI empowers social sciences higher education (HE) educators to effectively integrate AI technologies into their teaching methods. With a central focus on digital readiness, innovative learning-teaching methods, and knowledge sharing, EduAI fosters collaboration across educational sectors. It equips educators with vital digital skills and innovative approaches to seamlessly incorporate AI into pedagogical practices, benefiting learners in higher education (HE), secondary education (SE), adult education (AE), and vocational education and training (VET), where digital proficiency is increasingly indispensable.

İstanbul University (Coordinator)

Established in 1453, Istanbul University is among the first and longest-standing research institutions in Turkiye, comprising: 17 Faculties, 1 Conservatory, 2 Vocational Schools, 2 Colleges, and 14 Graduate Institutes. Serving more than half a million students, with more than 5000 scholars the university is a leading public institution in research, funding, innovation, and teaching. IU Alumni include CEOs, presidents, and two Nobel prize winners.

Istanbul University is also a leader in various projects utilizing big data and AI, and it is actively investing in computer science, as evidenced by the establishment of the Computer Sciences Faculty and the Informatics department. Their experience and expertise in the AI field place them in a perfect position as the project coordinator. They will oversee and guide project partners in the development of their deliverables and ensure EduAI will reach its goal of integrating AI technologies into teaching practices.

AIDLEARN (Project Member)

AidLearn Training, Research-Action, and Consulting Company has been operating nationally and across Europe since 2003, specializing in the design, implementation, and evaluation of studies, projects, and training activities that promote individual and organizational development. As a certified training entity by DGERT (Directorate General for Employment and Labour Relations) in various educational and training areas, we are dedicated to contributing to expertise development by building a learning organization focused on equal opportunities.

We offer innovative services tailored to the specific needs of organizations and individuals, with a particular focus on upskilling teachers at all educational levels. Our main areas of intervention include the diagnosis of learning needs, and the conception, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities, methods, and tools. These encompass face-to-face and blended formats, projects, and research studies in the following fields: teachers upskilling; digital literacy (including artificial intelligence); health and safety; social services; environment; multiculturalism; production of multimedia educational resources; intergenerational learning, and active citizenship.

AidLearn boasts extensive experience in the design and development of studies and projects, often from an action-research perspective, aimed at fostering innovation in education and training systems. This approach promotes organizational learning and diversifies training offerings. We have successfully taken on roles as both promoter/coordinator and partner in national and international projects.

European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB) (Project Member)

European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB) is the European umbrella association of free and non-profit educational providers. Its objective lies in the qualitative improvement of Vocational Education and Training in European countries and an increase in the efforts being carried out in education at a European level.

EVBB has a great network within and outside Europe (65 Educational Institutions & 1500 Educational Centres) and will help us to further disseminate the project’s results, it will involve more VET providers, and it will approach partners from third countries.
Thanks to their experience in many European Projects, EVBB will be highly skilled to lead the implementing dissemination activities, including the dissemination plan, as well as the dissemination of interim and final reports.

USDAD (Project Member)

USDAD, is a non-governmental association, called the International Association of Social Science Programs Evaluation and Accrediting. The mission of USDAD advance the social sciences by accrediting, evaluating, and informing national and international social science programs. Therefore, it is aimed to reach the top level of social science education by training social scientist who is well-educated, comprehend the advancing technology, eagerness to learn in their career.

Furthermore, it aims to cooperate with national and international education institutions and educational professional associations. Apart from those it gives information to program managers and faculty members about program development and evaluation and holds workshops, panels, conferences, and seminars at the national and international levels to be able to accomplish the objectives.

USDAD will be the lead partner for the Exploitation, Sustainability, and Impact strategy and plan, including Multiplier Events, IPR agreement, and Sustainability Declaration, by using their skills to the successful implementation of the project.

European Teachers Academy (Project Member)

The European Teachers Academy (a brand owned by the company – Krakowskie Forum Edukacji Ltd.) is an international training provider specialized in the development of professionals working in the educational sector by promoting, supporting, and providing training activities in accordance with the Erasmus + principles and best practices in education and training.

Due to its extensive experience collaborating with schools, teachers, and youth workers across Europe, the European Teachers Academy possesses a profound understanding of the needs and challenges within the education and teaching sectors. Its wide network also serves as a valuable asset for the EduAI Project.
As a key member of the Monitoring, Quality Assurance, and Evaluation team within Work Package 1 – Project Management, the European Teachers Academy will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of materials, collecting practical data, conducting reviews, and gathering member feedback.

Metropolitan College (Project Member)

Metropolitan College, established in 1982, is the largest UK Transnational Education (TNE) provider in Greece, offering a comprehensive range of undergraduate, master’s, and MBA programs across seven state-of-the-art campuses. This institution collaborates with prestigious universities like the University of London, University of East London, and Queen Margaret University – Edinburgh, reflecting their commitment to providing diverse and quality educational experiences. 

Alongside their diverse faculties covering disciplines from Business and Economics to Health Sciences and Engineering, Metropolitan College is deeply invested in European educational and research initiatives. They actively participate in Erasmus+ Programme projects, including KA2 and KA3 initiatives, contributing to the development of innovative curricula and enhancing educational standards.
Their involvement in these projects underlines the dedication to fostering international collaborations, driving academic excellence, and preparing students to meet the challenges of an ever-evolving global landscape. These are all essential assets to help the EduAI project run successfully.

University of Aveiro (Project Member)

University of Aveiro is a young university, founded in 1973, with more than 16,000 full-time students (graduate and postgraduate). The academic community further comprises around 1,800 teaching staff and researchers, and around 900 technical, administrative and managerial staff. The University has a strong research profile, a unique model of governance (16 Departments, 4 Polytechnic Schools and various training centres), acting as a regional network for education and training while promoting strong links with the surrounding community, and is a pioneer in launching degrees in new subject areas.
